As a funeral advisor and ceremony host, you will be a reliable guide for people in a life situation that requires both care and sensitivity. You will become part of a close-knit team that, with warmth and empathy, helps our clients make important decisions in a difficult time. Our starting point is always the client's needs, and with presence and respect, we create personal and dignified farewells.

You will have daily contact with people in various life situations and be responsible for client meetings as well as contact with congregations, communities, partners, suppliers, and authorities. You will also serve as a ceremony host at services in both churches and chapels.

The position is mobile and involves work at our funeral homes in Uppsala, Knivsta, Märsta, and Sigtuna, depending on the needs of the business. This gives you a varied and dynamic workday where you can contribute where you are needed most.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting by agreement.

We apply a six-month probationary period.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, empathetic, and has a genuine sense of service. You are a reliable and stable person who meets each client with sensitivity and respect based on their unique needs. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks with care and attention.

You enjoy working both independently and together with others, and you find it easy to collaborate in different constellations. You are flexible and adaptable, and you enjoy working in various environments and meeting new people. Your administrative skills are good, and you are accustomed to working with digital tools. Previous experience in customer service is an advantage.

A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

The organization

The IGNIS Foundation owns IGNIS Funeral Homes, ABJ Företaget, Frid Begravning, Eskilstuna Funeral Home, and Westlings Funeral Home. The foundation operates with a non-profit purpose focused on promoting good funeral practices and dignified care of the deceased. IGNIS Funeral Homes is one of Sweden's largest private authorized funeral homes. Being authorized means, among other things, that our employees have undergone authorization training organized by the Swedish Funeral Directors Association.
